The deals include:
- Van Driel Engineering Ltd, a Norfolk-based design and fabrication business with strong links to the theatre, film and TV industries, sold to Manchester Technical Innovations Ltd.
- 3A Manufacturing Ltd, a specialist in protective packaging based in Dorset, sold to Ferguson Company Investments Ltd.
- W. Campbell & Son Ltd, a long-established CNC fabrication business in Hull, sold to Ferguson’s Property Investments 4 Ltd.
With clear growth potential, each deal attracted strong buyer interest, ultimately selling to experienced operators.
An active July for the Altius team reflects the strong appetite from both trade and investment buyers for quality businesses in the engineering and manufacturing space. According to the Royal Academy of Engineering, the sector contributes approximately £645 billion to the UK economy and is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 3.6 percent between 2024 and 2030.
Altius Group is a top 5 most active dealmaker in 2025, according to Experian MarketIQ. Further strengthening its position in the market, the Altius Group became the sole business broker member of The British Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (BVCA), earlier in 2025.
