M T M Engineering & Moulding Limited located in Cheshire was sold to GHG Group Limited in a deal facilitated by Altius Group.
M T M Engineering & Moulding is a well and long established precision engineering and injection moulding business in Hyde, Cheshire. An experienced industry player, with operational roots dating back over 40 years, M T M has established deep and long-lasting relationships with core commercial clients.
The seller attempted going through various other brokers. But a sale did not materialise with any of them. After four years of unsuccessfully trying to sell his business, the seller decided to instruct Altius Group, with a sale agreed in around 6 months. The buyer, owner of 2 manufacturing businesses based in the North West, was attracted to the business by the high level of synergy with his current operation.
Our client’s comments on the Altius Group sales process were: “Brilliant, the business has been on the market for 4 years with a number of different brokers. We came on with Altius in the New Year and they have sold It! I engaged Altius Group to sell my business in February. By the beginning of November, a deal was completed.”
