At Altius Group we’re passionate about making a positive difference to our communities.
One way we do this is through our support for projects and charities that create lasting, positive impact – both local to our base in Lancashire and across the UK.
Over the last few years we’ve contributed to a range of good causes that matter to the Altius team.
In 2025 alone charitable donations included:
£4,000 donated to High Five – a Lancashire charity dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and their families.
£3,000 to North West Children’s Support Group (NWCSG), a charity providing holidays and social events for children with disabilities or additional needs.
£3,000 to Unique Kidz Morecambe – a charity dedicated to supporting young people with disabilities
We’ve also supported children’s hospices Brian House and Derian House; contributed gifts for Cash for Kids: Mission Christmas; and donated to foodbanks in Preston, Blackpool and Newcastle.
Our commitment to making a difference goes beyond local communities.
In February 2026 Altius celebrate a four year milestone through our partnership with climate action platform, Ecologi, whose mission is “to inspire and empower businesses to accelerate global climate action.”
By the end of 2025 Altius Group had funded the planting of 11,300+ trees and offset 1,100+ tonnes of CO₂ through the initiative. Some of the projects supported through the platform include:
- Reducing deforestation and degradation in Colombia
- Turning methane gas into electricity in Brazil
- Peatland restoration and conservation in Indonesia
Our efforts reflect our belief that businesses can play a role in a sustainable future.
